Our Story

Bold adj.: confident, expressive, full of character.
Panache n.: style, flair, and elegance worn lightly.

Bold & Panache began as a world before it became a brand.

Founded by interior designer Natalia Malarska, the house grew naturally from years spent creating layered, emotionally rich interiors through her studio, La Folie Studio — included in the AD100 selection, with projects published internationally in Architectural Digest, Vogue Living, Elle Decoration, and other leading design publications.

World shaped by travel and decorative traditions

Natalia Malarska’s aesthetic has been shaped by years of living, working, and travelling abroad.

Over the years, she travelled extensively across the Far East, returning to China on numerous occasions. These experiences introduced her to a rich decorative language of ornament, lacquered surfaces, porcelain, antique silks, temple interiors, faded murals, and expressive colour—an influence that continues to quietly reappear throughout the world of Bold & Panache.

A home collected slowly over time

For Natalia, a home is never simply decorated. It is shaped over time—through fabrics gathered during travels, carefully chosen antiques, books, ceramics, and objects selected not because they follow trends, but because they bring beauty to everyday life and are a joy to live with.

Evening is Natalia’s favourite time of day. Before dinner, she walks through the house, turning on lamps one by one as soft light settles across textiles, books, and aged wood. It is often in that moment that a house feels most like home.

This quiet relationship with light would later become one of the starting points for the Bold & Panache lighting collection.

Made in Poland, made to age

At the same time, Poland remained equally important — a country of layered histories, craftsmanship, old houses, and decorative traditions that continue to shape the brand today.

Living for years with honest materials — silk, velvet, linen, ceramics, brass — Natalia grew to love the way they age: softening, darkening, holding the quiet traces of time.

Bold & Panache began as a wish to pass that feeling on — objects made not to stay perfect, but to grow more beautiful with every passing year.
