DELIVERY & RETURNS

We currently ship within the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. All our products are made to order — production times vary by category, followed by 2–5 business days’ courier delivery within the EU and 3–7 business days to the UK and Switzerland.

European Union (DDP)

Delivered Duty Paid

Shipping cost: 30 EUR (130 PLN) flat rate, free for orders over 450 EUR (1900 PLN) — the same for every product.

All EU shipments are sent DDP — Bold & Panache handles VAT and customs. You pay nothing extra on delivery.

Poland

Domestic Delivery

Shipping cost: 25 PLN (6 EUR) flat rate, free for orders over 1900 PLN (450 EUR) — the same for every product. Courier to the door.

United Kingdom (DAP)

Delivered At Place

Shipping cost: 40 EUR (170 PLN) flat rate, free for orders over 450 EUR (1900 PLN).

Since Brexit (2021), the United Kingdom is outside the EU. Goods shipped from Poland to the UK are exports. UK VAT (20%) and any applicable customs duties are paid by the buyer upon delivery — the courier will contact you with the amount due before final drop-off.

Important — table lamps to the UK: tour table lamps are fitted with a standard EU plug. A standard EU-to-UK adapter is required for use in the UK (not included; widely available in stores and online). Pendants and wall lights require no changes — they are installed by an electrician directly to ceiling or wall wiring. The UK and EU share the same voltage (230V) and compatible sockets (E14/E27).

Switzerland (DAP)

Delivered At Place

Shipping cost, calculated automatically at checkout:

• Cushions, lampshades and wall lights: 70 EUR (300 PLN)

• Table lamps: 110 EUR (470 PLN)

• Pendants: 360 EUR (1530 PLN)

Free shipping thresholds do not apply to Switzerland. Switzerland is outside the EU customs union — imported goods are subject to Swiss customs and VAT (8.1%), paid by the buyer upon delivery.

Table lamps require no plug adapter for Switzerland — Swiss sockets accept the standard EU Europlug (type C). Same voltage as the EU (230V).

Other countries

For pendants, table lamps and shades, we’re happy to send a silk sample in your chosen colour. The sample itself is free — you only cover shipping: 5 EUR (20 PLN) within the EU, 15 EUR (65 PLN) outside the EU. Email contact@boldandpanache.com with the colour you’d like.

For cushions, the pattern runs across the whole fabric, so we don’t send individual samples — the product and lifestyle photos in our gallery and on Instagram give the best sense of pattern and colour.

Lead times

Production & dispatch

All our products are made to order. Dispatch times (before handover to courier):

• Cushions: up to 3 weeks

• Lampshades: up to 4 weeks

• Table lamps: up to 4 weeks

• Pendants: up to 6 weeks

• Wall lights: up to 6 weeks

Courier delivery (after dispatch): 2–5 business days to the EU, 3–7 business days to the UK and Switzerland.

Packaging & insurance

All shipments are insured, at no cost to you. Lamps are packed in heavy-duty 5-ply cardboard boxes with padding, protected against transit damage. Cushions are packed in cardboard boxes.

If the parcel arrives damaged, you have 2 business days from receipt to report a claim, with photos of the packaging and the damage. Bold & Panache replaces or repairs the product at no additional cost.

Returns & complaints

All Bold & Panache products are made to order. Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)), goods made to a consumer’s specification are excluded from the right of withdrawal — we do not accept returns.

Complaints regarding transit damage or production defects are accepted within 2 business days of delivery. You receive a replacement or repair of the product at no additional cost.
